Real Families, Real Results

We started aniromiheari because honestly, the financial education space felt disconnected from what families actually need. Back in 2019, a couple of us were sitting around discussing why so many households struggle with money despite all the advice floating around online. The answer became obvious after a while—most resources either talk down to people or drown them in jargon.

How We Got Here

Our founder, Keir Braddock, spent over a decade working in community financial counselling across Newcastle. He'd meet families week after week who were drowning in advice but starving for practical guidance. They didn't need another lecture about compound interest—they needed someone to walk them through setting up that first savings account without feeling judged.

So we built aniromiheari around one simple idea: budgeting education should feel like a conversation with a knowledgeable friend, not a finance seminar. Every program we develop gets tested with real families first. If someone glazes over during an explanation, we scrap it and start again.

By mid-2025, we've worked with over 1,200 Australian families. Not all of them become budgeting wizards overnight, and that's fine. Progress looks different for everyone—what matters is that people feel more confident about money than when they started.

What Makes Our Approach Different

No Shame Zone

Money mistakes happen. We've all been there—impulse purchases, forgotten subscriptions, underestimating how much takeaway adds up. Our programs focus on building better habits without dwelling on past slip-ups.

Australian Context

Everything we teach accounts for Australian costs, tax structures, and social security systems. Generic international advice often misses important local details that actually matter to your household budget.

Flexible Learning

Some families prefer structured courses, others just want quick resources when they hit a snag. We offer both because there's no single right way to learn about managing money—whatever works for your schedule and learning style.

Who's Behind aniromiheari

We're a small team based in Newcastle, though we work with families across Australia. Most of us came from backgrounds in financial counselling, education, or community support—not traditional finance. That perspective shapes everything we do.

Founder & Lead Educator

After years of front-line financial counselling, Keir realized families needed ongoing education more than one-off crisis intervention. He built aniromiheari to fill that gap, focusing on accessible learning that respects people's intelligence without overwhelming them with unnecessary complexity.

Program Coordinator

Lachlan comes from adult education and brings an obsession with making material stick. He's the one who insists we test every lesson with real families before it goes live. If participants can't immediately apply what they learned, he sends us back to the drawing board.
